INFLUENCE
These data points and clusters, Terras and Helios, all interact with one another in a live data Universe. Those that are more comprehensive, more dense, and more informed will consequently have more influence on other Helios and Terra within the environment.
We can infer new information based on what occurs to larger Helios and Terra. Any new changes, positive or negative, can have drastic rippling effects across industries and markets if the Helios is large enough.
eg. A manufacturer with 100,000s of SKUs suddenly cuts an entire line of products. Some of its direct effects may seem obvious like layoffs or organizational restructuring, but what else will this tell us?
- Competitor effects?
- Market effects?
- Upstream supplier effects?
- Downstream retailer effects?
- Is it to open up extra funding for R&D or accumulate cash for an impending recession?
